The story takes place through Samantha's eyes. Everything starts, when one morning her mother, Viviana, wakes her up so that she can help with her father, Ernesto, who is having a dangerous low blood sugar episode. Samantha and Viviana do everything possible to save Ernesto. This overwhelming situation unleashes an internal struggle in Samantha. Forcing her to confront memories of trauma and her greatest fears.
